    I have been running the computer since i last posted here and it didn't crash at all so i sent it back with my friend thinking the driver update fixed it. As soon as he took it home he installed a bunch of stuff on it and it has crashed three times today. Here are the updated logs.

    What has your friend installed?
    I see a Gigabyte program, Gigabyte software is known for causing 0x124(WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR)

    Please test your hard drive(s) again, but this time using HDTune
    Code: ffffd000`e479bb58 fffff800`a1e900c0 FLTMGR!FltpProcessGenericWorkItem[/quote]

    Run HDTune to scan for errors, health and benchmark.
    Let me know what the results are, prefered screenshots.

    Is any setting in your BIOS changed?
    If not, thus it is loaded for optimal settings, then there are a few options left.
    The PSU, motherboard and software.

    Please check in the BIOS the 3.3v, 5v and 12v values and let me know what they are.

    Please try booting in safe mode and see if the problem still persist.
    Safe mode would rule out software or the motherboard and PSU.

    Also not to forget, if you have anything connected to your pc, please disconnect it.
    Exception for monitor, mouse and keyboard.
    This should rule out any peripherals involved with it.

  6. Hi, im Sanztrack's friend and owner of the computer we've been working on. I checked the BIOS and i didnt see a 5v but the numbers were:
    1.5v = 1.512v
    12v = 11.952v
    3.3v = 3.401v

    so i ran a game in safe mode, but it seems like i didnt load the drivers in safe mode so it ran at 1fps, but the computer didnt crash, origin did, but the computer or game did not. I unplugged my headphones as well so that the mouse,keyboard and monitor were still plugged in. Sanztrack has used his 850w psu on my pc before and it still crashed so we're fine there. As a test i loaded up Heroes of the Storm, when i got home and after restarting into normal mode, and just went through the menus and it crashed again, even without the headphones in, just incase they mightve caused the problem.

    In safe mode barely a thing is loaded, only Windows and hardware drivers are loaded.
    GPU drivers are not loaded because Windows has its own drivers for in safe mode.

    I understand in safe mode no bluescreen happened?

    Nope, nothing, everything was just fine. Like I said, the only thing that crashed, was Origin.

    Probably because Origin couldn't load everything properly.

    That is the result I was hoping for *Smile

    Clean boot
    Please try the following:
    • Open taskmanager
      • Go to the tab startup
      • disable everything
    • Search msconfig and open it
      • Go to the tab services
      • Check 'hide microsoft services'
      • Uncheck all other services
      • Click apply and click ok
    • Reboot if asked
    See if the problem persist, if the problem does not persist enable in the startup tab in taskmanager 1 item and in the services tab in msconfig also 1 service, reboot and see if the problem persist. Keep doing this until you find the culprit or there is nothing left.

    If the problem still persist, you might need to think of removing each program 1 by 1 to see if the problem still persist.
    When 1 program is removed, try the things that usually caused a crash and see if it happens again.
    If after removing every program the crash still occurs, run driver verifier a few times.
    Driver verifier checks drivers for violations and crashes the system if it finds one, when driver verifier is running just keep doing the things you would normally do but DO NOT run heavy tasks. Driver verifier could cause an extreme lack of performance, running a heavy task while driver verifier is running might cause a few other problems sometimes.
    If driver verifier also can't find anything and the BIOS is also as it should be, then this is a bug in Windows as everything should have been ruled out.

    Note In safe mode, not everything of Windows is loaded, this means that in safe mode Windows is NOT 100% ruled out
    Instructions for driver verifier is below, please read it carefully.

    DRIVER VERIFIER

    Random hard resets with no errors, pop-ups, or bsod. [IMG]
    Warning Please make a backup of your important files and get your rescue media or create one.
    Please create a restore point.
    Please follow this tutorial to run driver verifier.

    Driver verifier stresses your drivers and will crash your pc if any driver fails due to a violation.

    Driver verifier should be performed for a max of 48 hours, or when you have a bluescreen, whatever comes first.

    If driver verifier has found a violation and you can't get back into windows normally, try to boot into safe mode and reset in safe mode driver verifier, or in the troubleshooting options open command prompt and type verifier /reset.

    Note Your system will act very sluggishly while driver verifier is enabled, this is normal as your drivers will be being subjected to heavy testing in order to make them crash.
