Windows 10: Removing an email from a microsoft 10 account

I have a work computer which has its own microsoft account attached to it. I logged into my microsoft account to download an adobe program and accidentally connected my account to the device. I removed the device from my account online, but in the settings, it still has my microsoft family linked and email attached. I'm trying to fully remove my microsoft account from the account on the Windows 10 PC. Please help.

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

   net user test /del

 

User account now has wrong microsoft email tied to it

You might check using step 3 in Option Two of the tutorial below to see if your son's email is listed under your "Email & app accounts". If so, deleting it will remove it.

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address.
