Just this past month my cpu speed is down to around 1.5GHz but it used to be around 2.5GHz. My computer is also slower. Does anyone know why this is and how to solve this issue?

  2. Task Manager console displays innacurate RAM speeds

I have corsair Vengeance pro 16 GB ram 1866 mhz installed, Bios cpu z show it at this speed but task manager shows ram speed at 1400 mhz. Is this a cosmetic error for win 10? How do I fix it?

  3. Fan noisy, loud and fast after installing Windows 10

"The problem with manually limiting the CPU fan speed is that you risk damaging the CPU and/or motherboard if you are running processor-intensive tasks that really do need the fan to run at full speed."

Agreed but if Task Manager shows low levels of activity, it would not hurt to manually slow the fans up a little..

That is called SpeedStep. Your maximum speed is 2,41 GHz, as shown on your screenshot.
You can run some CPU demanding task, like a video and your CPU speed should increase.
If you want your CPU to run at max all the time, you can set min processor state to 100%.

The first most obvious thing to check is that you haven't accidentally switched to a low power Power Plan. See these tutorials:

Having said that, occasionally my laptop gets confused if I've been running it for a few weeks without a reboot. I hibernate it while not in use and run it plugged in when the battery gets low. Sometimes it gets stuck at a low CPU clock speed which no amount of changing power plan settings or removing/reinserting the power lead will fix. A reboot is then required to get it back up to full speed.
