Windows 10: Task view, hide files not used on the computer

Discus and support Task view, hide files not used on the computer in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Hi, on a computer of my secretary I can see all the file that I used on my pc (that is in LAN) or that I used on the NAS.     Hi,


    on a computer of my secretary I can see all the file that I used on my pc (that is in LAN) or that I used on the NAS.

    How can hide these files?

    I don't want that she see my private documents (btw she cannot open those).

    Unable to hide Task bar

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you are unable to hide Task bar. We will assist you to resolve the issue.

    I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    a. Right click on the Task bar.

    b. Click on Properties.

    c. Put a check mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the task bar.

    d. Click on Apply and OK.

    If the issue persists try the below steps to restart the Windows Explorer and check if that helps.

    Step 1: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open Task Manager

    Step 2: Click on
    More details.

    Step 3: Under the Processes tab, right-click on Windows Explorer entry and then click Restart.

    Task view, hide files not used on the computer

    Task View

    It's the Task View, not the Task Bar, that is the problem. I should be getting the popup (right clicking on Task View) showing the options for additional Desktops, not the five options for the Task Bar. A 'chat' with MS Solutions said that I should reinstall
    Windows 10 to MAYBE correct this problem. Any suggestions to correct?? Thanks for your interest...I really appreciate it.
    The Task View is the only feature that I may like on 10!!
