I meant actually the BIOS of the motherboard.

  2. Hi,

Looks like that is the Video bios not the motherboard one that might need updating.

Your version 6.0 Motherboard has the latest BIOS. See here for info.

So what should I try next? Maybe the card is just bad?

(Updated) BSOD For unspecified 124 STOP

Yep, still getting the same Blue Screen with no useful info other than the 124 stop, which apparently could be a number of things. Windows reports nothing, I don't see anything in the event log..... what do I do at this point? It seems like I'd need to try different hardware just to figure it out. The biggest problem is: It can't be reliably triggered anymore. Nothing about this is consistent. This time it BSd in Overwatch, but has done fine under the same conditions for 5-6 hours straight. I even started monitoring the GPU temp and I've never seen it go above 77c. My best guess is that it is the GPU, but who knows. I don't have 3-700$ to blow on one.

As it is been a month since your last reply we need new logs of the crashes and logs/screenshots of tests that has been used.

A 0x124 is a hardware crash, the dumps provide reports about what problem caused the crash but does NOT specify a cause.
A 0x124 can be caused by so many things, for example:
    • Drivers,
    • BIOS,
    • Overheating,
    • Improper seating,
    • Improper cooling,
    • Faulty hardware,
    • Improper power

When you ran all the tests I should have asked for the results for review.

You should've done that when you stress tested it, it shouldn't be special anymore.

Well I meant actively monitoring during gameplay, which I wasn't doing before. I'll upload the crash logs soon, and run some more tests. Do I need to run a torture test or will an hour or do suffice? The crashes have happened anywhere from 10mins to 6 hours in, so IDK what is best to test.

Hello. I'm working on the tests. Not sure about the timing for the CPU test so I plan on about 12h, even though it's gone 1.5 without any issue or even exceeding 50c. That's judging by what I've seen on forums etc. Moving to other tests after this one.

Sorry for the late response, been on the move for a while and just settled back down.

Alright, Here are the results for everything but MemTest, as I seem to have lost my free USB stick.

Starting with CPU stress test. This was left on for roughly 12 hours straight.
    Attachment 91203

Next Is GPU. Was left on with the required settings for 30 min.
I was present for ~20 min, and there were no artifacts whatsoever.

As there were multiple HDD tests and I have multiple drives, the individual
tests can be found in proceeding posts. The below screenshots are of the
SeaTools tests that include data for both drives.

One more thing. Looking back I realized you had asked me to upload a current zip containing collected system information and for some reason I never did that. So here it is.

Please follow option TWO of the tutorial for chkdsk as requested, run following command on each partition in an admin command prompt.
Code: chkdsk C: /r[/quote] This is just an example, change the letter C to the letter of the partitions.

Looks like this will be running for a long time. Be back asap.
