Windows 10: How to add Modern UI apps to approved apps list of Controlled Folder Access

Hi,


I have problem with Controlled Folder Access, which won't let me to save files from almost any app. So I added my apps manually, but it don't work for Office Mobile apps on Windows, since I don't know the location of executable files.


I can't use full Office - I have only Office Mobile.

Preventing access to modern app


Ive been tasked with preventing the children from accessing instagram. I've got it listed in my windows hosts file and internet options/security/restricted site but the windows 10 app is still allowing access. Any suggestions other then deleting app which can just be reinstalled?

Here's the context menu for adding apps to the allowed list to help.

That quote means that you can add an .exe file you consider to be safe to be allowed access to your protected folders. Basically, an app exception list.

 

Finally possible to put Metro apps in a folder?


You could use step 4 in Option 1 to add a new folder in the All Apps list, then add shortcuts into the new folder.
