    Same PC showing twice in under Devices in Microsoft account


    Hello,

    Yesterday I've updated my windows from build 1803 to 1903. As I encountered some problems with Activation (Free Digital License) I have used slmgr.vbs /upk without writing down the Key(I thought I have it written down somewhere). I have tried to restore but couldn't because of an error about antivirus or something like that.

    I have proceeded to buy a new Digital License but I have noticed I have 2 PC's in my Microsoft account one on build 1803 the other on 1903.

    Is it possible that the 1803 build to still have the Activation key attached? Or can you explain why it's there?

    It is the same PC.

    Yep, that would be the reason why the PC is listed more than once as a device for your Microsoft account.

    Each different computer name will be listed as a separate device.

    I get different reactions every time I try to delete a device, but the result is that I cannot remove the devices.
    I'll go back to local accounts and delete the Microsoft account.
    I changed to Microsoft account because I wanted to use the Continue on PC feature. This feature doesn't work so I think that I'll just forget about it.
