You can synchronize your PC's clock with an Internet time server. This means that the clock on your PC is updated to match the clock on the time server, which can help ensure that the clock's time on your PC is accurate. Your clock is typically automatically updated once a week and needs to be connected to the Internet for the synchronization to occur.

    Windows 10 commands/shortcuts/env. var.

    Keyboard shortcuts to open programs:

Create a shortcut on the desktop to whatever program you want. Right click -> Properties and fill in the field there. Sadly the shortcut needs to remain on the desktop, but you can hide it.

Fun fact: If you had keyboard shortcuts for programs pinned to your Windows 7 start menu, those shortcuts still work when you update to Windows 10.

Windows Time (clock) out of sync

Since the last update, I had on my windows 10 - 64bit pro, the time is out of sync whenever I boot up the windows.

set time automatically & set timezone automatically are
ON and selected timezone (grayed out) is also correctly showing my town, but the time is wrong. I should always turn the setTimeAuto OFF and ON then windows syncs the clock, and on next shutdown and boot up, again the same problem.

    • set time automatically -> ON
    • set timezone automatically -> ON
    • change date and time -> grayed out
    • TimeZone -> grayed out and correct chosen city
    • adjust for daylight saving time automatically -> ON grayed out
    • don't show additional calendars
    • internet time settings -> sync with time server ~ time.windows.com & time.nist.gov (tried both)
